Full artificial Christmas trees offer a lush, dense look that closely mimics a real tree without the maintenance. They don't shed needles, require no watering, and can be reused for many years, providing cost savings over time. Additionally, they are hypoallergenic and can be set up and taken down at your convenience. These trees often come pre-lit, saving you the hassle of stringing lights, and their sturdy structure allows you to hang plenty of ornaments.
To choose the best size for a full artificial Christmas tree, consider the height of your ceiling and the available floor space. There should be at least a foot of space between the top of the tree and the ceiling to accommodate a tree topper. As for width, full trees typically range from 40" to 60" in diameter, so ensure you have enough space to comfortably walk around the tree without it feeling cramped.
To make your full artificial Christmas tree look more realistic, fluff and shape branches starting from the innermost part and working outward to create depth. Add some real pine branches if you prefer, or opt for a high-quality tree with realistic branch tips. Lastly, thoughtful ornament placement and layering different types of lights can add to the tree's realism and visual appeal.
Full artificial Christmas trees are typically made from PVC and metal, which are not biodegradable and can be challenging to recycle. However, they can be reused for many years. When it's time to retire your artificial tree, check with local waste management services or recycling centers to see if they accept them. Alternatively, consider repurposing or donating the tree to extend its useful life.
To store a full artificial Christmas tree and keep it in good shape, disassemble it according to the manufacturer's instructions and carefully place it in a tree storage bag or a sturdy box. Store the tree in a cool, dry place where it's protected from extreme temperatures and humidity, which can cause damage. Avoid placing heavy items on top that could bend or break the branches.
