Service authorization · regarding on-site repairs

Talk to us before any repair work begins.

In the event that replacement or repair work needs to be done, it is important that you call Customer Service first. Warranty claims must be documented in Treetime’s database prior to having any work done on your tree, wreath, or garland.

The customer is responsible for paying inbound shipping to Treetime for all items requiring warranty service.

Your service process

Know what happens next.

Follow this sequence before sending a product or section back for service.

  1. Open and inspect the product promptly.

When an order arrives, inspect the product for incorrect items, missing parts, defects, or any concerns that need immediate assistance.

  2. Contact Treetime before repair work begins.

Call Customer Service so the warranty claim can be documented before any work is performed.

  3. Confirm what needs to be sent in.

Some service may require an entire tree, while other issues may only require one or two sections. Confirm this before packing.

  4. Use the proper box size.

Use the original box whenever possible. If it has been discarded, call Customer Service for proper dimensions before shipping.

  5. Ship carefully and compactly.

If only one or two sections are being sent, carefully compress and measure tightly around the sections so the smallest appropriate box can be used.

  6. Plan around repair timing.

Warranty repair work is done during the off-season between February and September. Items shipped or dropped off to Treetime will be returned before October 31st of the current calendar year.

Repair timing: Most repairs take between 4–8 weeks. Some repairs may take longer if a part requires replacement and that product is no longer in stock.

Shipping preparation

The right box makes a difference.

Box size is critically important when shipping a tree or tree section back to Treetime.

Use the original box.

It is very important to use the original shipping box when sending an entire tree back to Treetime.

Missing your box?

If the original box has been discarded, call Customer Service for the proper box dimensions you will need to use prior to shipping.

Sending just a section?

If only one or two sections are being sent, carefully compress the section or sections and measure tightly around them so the smallest box possible can be selected.

Why it matters: Oversized boxes can greatly increase shipping cost. Confirm packaging before sending anything back.
International customers

Freight is the customer’s responsibility.

Customers outside of the United States are covered under the same warranty coverage for Treetime products, with the exception of shipping costs. Treetime does not cover inbound or outbound freight costs on international warranty work. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Warranty work may be completed at no charge depending on the nature of the return.

Inspect upon receipt

Open your box immediately.

If an order is incorrect at the time of receipt, or if the tree, wreath, or garland has missing parts, is defective, or if any other issues or concerns arise, please email or call Treetime right away for immediate assistance.
